Email Access
Inofix is a fusion of the previous hosting organizations lusten.ch of Michael Lustenberger and buzzernet.net of Stefan Ott. Some accounts are not migrated yet, for these the old access information is still valid.
Email on inofix.net:
- Email Client Program (e.g. Thunderbird, Outlook, ..)
- Include our Certificate
- Prefered way - long-term solution: Get our CA-Certificate
- Download it from here (save it to disk..): https://www.inofix.net/certs/ca.pem - fingerprint (SHA1) is 7D:4F:37:BE:34:BF:AA:EE:7F:11:F0:6D:A3:4C:9F:FF:50:20:FD:F5
- Install it into your client program:
- For Thunderbird go to "Edit resp. Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Certificates > View Certificates > Authorities > Import" and select the previously downloaded file
- For Outlook go to "Tools > Internet Options > Content > Certificates > Import" and select the previously downloaded file
- Prefered way - long-term solution: Get our CA-Certificate
- Quick but dirty way:
- When asked, accept the certificate with the following fingerprint (SHA1): 9E:4E:35:19:98:65:76:0E:D6:9C:73:B7:CD:CF:F9:D4:CA:68:5C:07
- Include our Certificate
- Outgoing server:
- SMTP: mail.inofix.net; choose either smtp+stls (Port 25 with TLS/SSL) or smtps (Port 465)
- Incoming server (IMAP or POP3):
- IMAP: mail.inofix.net; choose either imap+stls (Port 143 with TLS/SSL) or imaps (Port 993)
- POP3: mail.inofix.net; choose either pop3+stls (Port 110 with TLS/SSL) or pop3s (Port 995)
- Webmail - email via webbrowser:
- URL: http://mail.inofix.net (-> https://www.inofix.net/mail)
- Before sending the first message, you have at least to (once) set a default email address under "Options" -> "Personal Information"
Former customers of buzzernet.net may still have the following Email settings (migration to inofix.net in progress):
- outgoing SMTP: buzzernet.net (Port 25 with TLS/SSL)
- incoming IMAP(S): buzzernet.net (Port 993)
- or incoming POP(S): buzzernet.net (Port 110 with TLS/SSL)
- Webmail Access via: https://ssl.buzzernet.net/mail
Deprecated: Migration for lusten.ch completed, please use the settings for inofix.net above:
- outgoing SMTP(S): pigeon.lusten.ch; choose either smtp+stls (Port 25 with TLS/SSL) or smtps (Port 465)
- incoming IMAP(S): dove.lusten.ch; choose either imap+stls (Port 143 with TLS/SSL) or imaps (Port 993)
- or incoming POP(S): dove.lusten.ch; choose either pop3+stls (Port 110 with TLS/SSL) or pop3s (Port 995)
- Webmail Access via: https://www.lusten.ch/mail
